THE interview

Hi,

As most of you know, I'm looking for an internship for this summer. I absolutely need this because of the arragement between Deusto and Richmond. So the story starts yesterday when I received a call from a man who wants to launch a book and a entrepreneurial web-page. I am really interested in this internship. He called me yesterday and told me that we could meet today.

So today morning, I woke up early, took a shower, even shaved; and while I was starting to wear my suit for the first time since December, a woman called me telling me that my interview needs to be scheduled to the next week sometime.

I really wanted to do this interview today to have clearer my future this summer. But it looks that at least next week. Anyway, I'm really interested in this opportunity so the wait is going to be worth!

See you

Memorial Day

Hi

Today has been the Memorial Day in the United States. This is the day to commemorate and give thanks to all the military service of the US: marines, army, etc.

So that means that today I didn't have any class. But I have it tomorrow. So I did nothing more or less during the day of today. D-hall was closed so I ate in Tyler's and overall I spoke to people on MSN or Skype. I went out for running four laps to the lake because the gym was closed at 6 pm and basically that was all. NBA game as everynight and now I'm here. It is not the most exciting day but I don't blame.

I've already plans for friday and Albert is coming on Saturday and Sunday; so great weekend.

By the way, UR ask me permission to take the picture of my room shown in the previous post to show to the incoming internationals; because it is so tidy! Hehe.

So, tomorrow I'll try to get the plates of my car in the DMV. Wish me luck!

Change and decisions!

Hi there,

Today I moved to my new place in Freeman Hall (where Anna used to live) and I am quite positively impressed with it. It is like Lakeview, literaly. It reminds a lot to it. Good things, I've got a double room by my own so a lot of space for me and visitors*. Bad things that no roomate means solitude.

But I am positive. I know this is going to be a great experience for me. I will learn more about socializing, I will find new people as I am doing already. It is going to be fun.

For example yesterday I went out with Rachael (American girl, friend of all the international students in Richmond) and her friends. At the beginning was strange because I didn't know anybody but at the end was great. I met some nice people and I know I am going to have fun with them this year.

So, this is the change and what is the decision? The decision is that this blog changes as well; it changes to English as oficial language. I hope there is no problem with it, is it?

Have a good day and thanks for following my "stuff".
